Arrest Report February 28 to March 6

Michael J. Helton of Hogue Road was arrested on February 28 at approximately 16:15 on Hogue Road on warrants for Theft by Deception and Failure to Appear.

Rebecca M. Davis of Marshes Siding was arrested on February 28 at approximately 17:00 on Dripping Springs Road on a warrant for Terroristic Threatening.

Channing Ross of Whitley City was arrested on March 1 at approximately 14:03 at the Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for Failure to Appear. Ross turned himself in.

Amanda Palmer of Stearns was served with warrants on March 1 at approximately 14:23 at MCDC for Assault 4th Degree, 2 counts.

Adam Slaven of Pine Knot was arrested on March 3 at approximately 10:38 at the courthouse for Public Intoxication (Controlled Substance).

Aimee Dennis of Cora Cooper Road was arrested on March 3 at approximately 16:38 on Cora Cooper Road for Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.

Courtney Gibson of Cora Cooper Road was arrested on March 3 at approximately 16:38 on Cora Cooper Road for Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.

David Crabtree of Parkers Lake was arrested on March 3 at approximately 18:35 at Save A Lot for Theft by Unlawful Taking under $500 (Shoplifting).

Melissa Martin of Court Lane was served with a Tennessee Fugitive warrant on March 3 at approximately 17:25.

Brock Byrd of Tim Stephens Road was arrested on March 4 at approximately 14:35 on KY 92 West for DUI, No Operators/Moped License, and Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance.

Kimberly Ridner (aka Kimberly Tucker) was arrested on March 4 at approximately 10:00 at the courthouse on a warrant for No/Expired Registration Plates, No/Expired Registration Receipt, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, License to be in Possession, Failure to Register Transfer of a Motor Vehicle, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance, and Failure to Wear Seatbelts.

Douglas A. Clark of Old Mill Road was served with a warrant on March 5 at approximately 10:17 at MCDC for Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.

Jordan M. Strunk of Stearns was arrested on March 5 at approximately 11:34 on Donaldson Hill Road for Public Intoxication (Controlled Substance) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sherrill Vahle (aka Dave) of George Vahle Road was arrested on March 6 at approximately 12:20 on George Vahle Road on a warrant for Receiving Stolen Property.

Roger S. Collins of Airport Road was served with an indictment on March 6 at approximately 08:30 at Pulaski County Detention Center for Burglary 2nd Degree (Complicity), Theft by Unlawful Taking (Complicity), and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree. Collins was also served with warrants for Failure to Appear and Theft by Deception.

New Criminal Cases to March 6

On February 28 a report was received of a burglary to a vacation house on North Devil Creek Road. Entry to the residence was made by forcing open the back door. Taken were a Washer and Dryer, white in color, a 25 inch Television, and a Microwave Oven, white in color. A case is open and under investigation.


On February 28 a report was received of a vehicle stolen from a residence on William Siding Road. The theft is believed to have occurred on the 27th at approximately 10:00. The vehicle is a 1994 GMC Safari Van, black in color, VIN 1GKDM19Z4RB509379. A possible suspect has been identified. The case is open and under investigation.


On March 1 a report was received of a burglary to a residence on Murphy Ridge Road. There was no forced entry to the residence. Taken were various pieces of jewelry and jewelry sets. A case is open and under investigation.


On March 2 a report was received of a burglary to a business on US 27 North in Whitley City. The back door had been pried open. Perpetrator(s) took an Element 32 inch flat screen television and remote controls. A case is open and under investigation.


On March 4 a report was received of a computer stolen from a residence on H King Spur Road. The laptop is a Dell Inspirion with serial number DYZV6G1 and service code number 30414261601. A possible suspect has been identified. The case is open and under investigation.
