Ricky Laxton of Tunnel Ridge Road was served with a warrant on June 22 at approximately 14:25 at MCDC for Assault 2nd Degree.

Jody L. Leggett of Loudermilk Road was arrested on June 22 at approximately 12:45 on KY 1651 on a warrant for Theft By Deception under $300.

Stephen A. Stephens of Winding Ridge Road was arrested on June 22 at approximately 11:00 at the McCreary County Courthouse on a warrant for Criminal Possession of a Forged Prescription.

Glenna M. Garner of Sargent Road was served with warrants from Pulaski County on June 22 at approximately 14:55 at MCDC for Theft By Deception over $300 and Theft By Deception under $300.

Billy G. Miller of Corder Flats was served with warrants on June 22 at approximately 14:35 at MCDC for Fleeing/Evading 2nd Degree (Foot), Resisting Arrest, Public Intoxication (Controlled Substance), and Non-Payment of Fines.

Brandon Hill of Tom Meadows Road was arrested on June 22 at approximately 22:31 on Mt. Pleasant Road for Public Intoxication (Controlled Substance).

Jason King of Airport Road was served with warrants on June 23 at approximately 15:06 at MCDC for Receiving Stolen Property over $300 and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree.

Steven Gibson of Webster Road was served with a warrant on June 23 at approximately 15:13 at MCDC for Theft By Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property over $300. Gibson was also served with a warrant on June 26 at approximately 11:18 at MCDC for Theft By Deception.

Adam Bennett of Slab Vanover road was arrested on June 23 at approximately 14:30 at the McCreary County Courthouse on an indictment warrant for Robbery 1st Degree.

Christopher C. Taylor of Somerset was arrested on June 24 at approximately 11:45 on KY 92 West on a Pulaski County warrant for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree.

Geraldine Bryant of Winding Ridge Road was served with warrants on June 25 at approximately 12:39 at MCDC for Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree.

Cody R. Clark of Highway 90 was arrested on June 25 at approximately 17:07 on US 27 North on an indictment warrant for Robbery 1st Degree.

Channing E. Neal of Osbourn Creek Road was served with a warrant on June 25 at approximately 21:02 at MCDC for Failure to Appear.

Charles A. Stephens of Airport Road was served with a Pulaski County warrant on June 26 at approximately 11:12 at MCDC for Failure to Appear.

Christopher St. John of Koger Lane was served with warrants on June 26 at approximately 11:04 at MCDC for Non-Payment of Fines, 2 counts.

John L. Helton of Beulah Heights Road was arrested on June 27 at approximately 21:52 on US 27 North for Failure to Illuminate Headlights and DUI.

New Criminal Cases to June 27

On June 16 a subject on Crowley Road off of 3C Road reported the theft of a purse from their residence. The purse contained cash and other items. The purse was located later on a dirt road just across the Whitley County line. The case is open and under investigation.


On June 15 a resident of Cardinal Lane reported the theft of a purse from a vehicle parked at their residence. The case is open and under investigation.


 On June 19 a resident of Marshes Siding Road reported the theft of a handgun. The handgun was located at a Pawn Shop and returned to the owner. A possible suspect has been identified. The case is open and under investigation.


On June 22 a resident of Alum Road reported returning home to find that someone had been in their residence. Cash (change) and other small items were taken. The case is open and under investigation.
